St. Landry DocuNet Service Terms and Conditions

Section 1 (Charges)

Installation of the client software and standard hardware configuration (for a description of the minimum system requirements and supported hardware please see Section 3(Hardware)) will incur an initial setup fee of $85.00 per PC.  This fee will include configuration of hardware and software, demonstration of the system and verification of completion.
Users of the St. Landry DocuNet service agree to pay $50.00 per month for the first PC accessing the St. Landry Online Service.  All subsequent PCs can be added at an additional cost of $25.00 per month with a limit of five PCs total.  In addition to the monthly fee, there will be a charge of $0.10 per page for all online documents printed through the DocuNet system.
Additionally, there will be a late fee of $25.00 per month on delinquent accounts. An account is considered delinquent if payment is not received on the day following the due date indicated on the monthly statement. Delinquent accounts can be suspended without notice and late fees will be accrued and added to the outstanding balance due.  A late fee of $25.00 per month will be added to the account until the balance is paid in full.
Finally, in the event of termination of service there will be a $40.00 reconnect charge applied when the billing is resolved and the customer request service returned.

Section 2 (Support)

Omni Services Incorporated, dba Omni Computers, a corporation independent of the St. Landry Parish Clerk of Court’s office, supports the St. Landry DocuNet system.  Omni Computers will conduct all initial setups and configurations of the DocuNet system as well as any subsequent modifications or technical support issues.  Omni Computers charges $85.00 per hour per technician for normal business hours on-site technical support and $50.00 per hour of travel time.  Telephone support can be reached 24 hours a day at a charge of $25.00 per incident.  If a technical resolution cannot be achieved via phone within 20 minutes, an on-site will have to be scheduled and the $25.00 phone support will be applied to the on-site labor charge.  Some problems do occur when printing due to slow connection speeds or an unexpected break in service while printing.  These problems are often not a result of user error or hardware issues and the customer will not be billed for any problem found to be caused by the system.

Section 3 (Hardware)

The St. Landry DocuNet system utilizes Microsoft Windows Terminal Server and Citrix Server.  The system allows for a broad range of Personal Computers to access the DocuNet system.  The minimum requirements for using the system are as follows:

Broadband internet access i.e. Cox Cable or BellSouth DSL.
IBM PC or compatible running Windows 98 or higher.
Any Hewlett Packard LaserJet printer using a parallel printer cable or capturing a parallel printer port.

Any variation from these specifications could result in performance degradation or increased downtime and is not supported by the St. Landry Parish Clerk of Court’s Office or Omni Computer Store.
